Our range of CENTURION tipping skips can be used to collect and dispose of waste and scrap in the workplace. The tipping skips are all on wheels so are easy to move around. When the tipping skip needs emptying, it can be raised up by forklift, positioned over the appropriate bin/skip, the lever can be operated by the forklift driver with string reaching the cab door . The skip is fully water tight and be drained via a drainage tap on the bottom.
For extra safety the skip also has a fixing chain that will attatch to the forks of the forklift, this means the skip won't fall off during the tipping process, the larger skips especially fall with some force (hydraulic dampers are recommended here).
Hydraulic Damper
Hydraulic Damper Option
Hydraulic Dampers for gradually tipping the dumping container is available on request. This is recommended for the larger tipping skips and does not result in an increase in size as they are installed within the frame of the dumper.
The hydraulic cylinder also acts as a noise reducer during tipping and has a buit in compensator that regulates itself based on the capacity required.
Our dumping containers can also be supplied with a galvanised finish to prevent rusting. We can also provide lids for the tipping skips. We supply a centrally split hinged sheet metal cover for this range of skips. Contact us for more details.
Floor Grills and Side Walls
Floor Grill with Draining Tap
This floor grill catches bits of debris or cargo keeping the drainage tap clear and working efficiently, these grills are galvanised so rusting will be kept to a minimum, these are available in all sizes to fit each of our CENTURION tip skips.
Side Wall Extensions
These side wall extensions are compatible with our CENTURION tip skips, the extensions are steel and allow for a considerable volume increase allowing more debris or cargo be transported, this is perfect for rubbish removal.
Automatic Tipping Release
Automatic Tipping Release
Available on request for all of our tipping skips is an automatic tipping release mechanism that is a practical solution for tilting containers.
To use you lift the bucket and place the mechanism above the outer edge of the waste container. You then simply lower the bucket so as to perform the necessary presure to operate the release mechanism that generates the tipping.
Brake System
Brake System
An optional brake system can be attached to the wheels ensuring better stability in the work position.
A feature of this range of tipping skips is a metal box that contains the attached safety chain.
