Custom Handling Equipment Manufacture

When you're ordering equipment for your warehouse, do you need to go down the bespoke path? Perhaps. It all depends on the particular needs of your company.

Finding The Right Fit

We have a large range of warehouse equipment, including roll pallets and roll cages, warehouse mobile safety steps and stillages and cage pallets. As well as these, we offer post pallets, plastic pallet boxes, mobile plastic bins, warehouse trolleys and load retention equipment. While different dimensions, features, and mechanisms are available, you might not always find what you want.

We recognise that every warehouse is different, and sometimes standard products just won't do the job for you. If, after browsing our selection of equipment, you can't find the perfect fit, get in touch. We'll be happy to speak with you and start the journey of making a custom product.

The Creation Process

To start, our engineers will discuss your requirements. You might already have a clear idea of what you want; in fact, you might even have a diagram for us. This doesn't need to be fancy. We can produce a design from the crudest of sketches, so don't worry if you're no Picasso.

Having said that, we know that not everyone has a clear picture in mind. Sometimes you have a problem, but you may not know anything about the solution. In that case, we'll send engineers round to conduct a site visit. There we'll be able to evaluate your working environment and present you with possible solutions.

As we develop ideas, we'll liaise with you to make sure that they are suitable. You may have particular needs, due to space, warehouse environment, budget, or other factors. We'll pay close attention to this, and ensure that our ideas will work for you.

Bringing It To Life

Generally, there are two main ways in which we create bespoke products. First, we can modify existing products. This could be changing dimensions, adding some kind of new mechanism, altering materials, or something else. Secondly, if nothing fits, we can create a new product entirely from scratch.

Either way, when you're happy for us to go ahead, we'll build prototypes. These are designed to be trialled by you. You'll be able to see how they work in situ, giving you the best possible chance to decide if you're happy or you want to make adjustments. These prototypes are not the finished product; they're a stage in the process, allowing you more freedom if something's not quite right.

The Final Product

Once you've played around with our prototypes, you'll be able to give us the valuable feedback we need to get a final working design. We'll begin the production process when you're totally satisfied.

Production usually takes between 4 and 5 weeks, although this time period can vary depending on the complexity of the design and the availability of materials. We strive to give you the highest quality production, so the finished design is exactly what you need. When it's complete, it'll be all yours.

Our bespoke manual handling equipment, just like our regular range, come to you with a full 12 months’ warranty. That will offer you some peace of mind as you use your new custom product.
